Photo Diary – Canada’s 150th Birthday Weekend

Man oh man, am I behind. Here we are in 2018 and I still have blog posts from the summertime that I haven’t posted yet.

Well, better get to it then!

For Canada’s 150th birthday long weekend, we decided to take advantage of our Parks Canada Discovery Passes and organized a trip to Fundy National Park with our buddies and their kiddos. Three families, four cabins, and lots of wet weather! We made the most of it though. We explored the park and the surrounding areas and beaches, played with the kids in the rain (and slid down slides until all our bums were wet), made some delicious meals, had some downtime with our kids before their bedtimes, and then hung out at night like proper grown-ups (with our baby monitors nearby) either outdoors or in the party cabin. :-)

All in all, it was a very nice weekend! Check it out:
